Real shame to have missed the amazing Uruguay victory over Fiji today. What a fantastic & unexpected result for them! It just shows if you put in the hard yards and have the desire then you can achieve the result you want. The post match tears by their players showed how much it meant to them.
I have enjoyed meeting some the locals of Osaka. Dontonbori was buzzing as expected. Noticing that we were visitors, a very generous local sat on the next table bought us a bottle of sake, welcome us to his city! The hot sake went down very well and complimented the delicious crab and sushi on my plate. if you make it to Osaka bar hop along the canal in Dontonbori it is absolutely beautiful, reminiscent of Amsterdam. Can’t wait to see England play tomorrow for the first time since arriving in Japan, in particular, the exciting back line.
