Katy McLean is currently captain of England Women and captained them to victory against Canada in the 2014 France Rugby World Cup. She plays as a fly-half for Darlington Mowden Park Sharks. Katy received an MBE in the 2014 New Year Honours. Katy works professionally as a schoolteacher

How do you like to spend time after training and rugby matches?
I love putting my feet up and watching House of Cards. Occasionally when I am back up north I like to surf.

If you were stranded on a desert island who would be the worst team mate past or present to be with and why?
Oh wow… Probably Maggie Alphonsi because her banter is shocking!

Most memorable match you have played in?
Of course it has to be the Rugby World Cup Final

What’s the best thing about RWC 2015 being in England?
Everyone has access to it with it being around the whole country

Always has to be Johnny Wilkinson

Watching my Dad get sent off the pitch when I was about 4

If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not famous, living or dead, real or fictional, who would it be?
