With England Rugby starting training camp this week, all eyes will be on news from Pennyhill Park where Lancaster and his team will be putting the boys through their paces. Lock Dave Attwood wil be looking to secure his place in the RWC2015 squad. Last year, during the successful Autumn Internationals, he stopped into the Clubhouse (complete with attractively bandaged bonce) for a quick chat.

How do you like to spend time after training and rugby matches?
I like to have down time so maybe a quite drink with the lads and spend time with my family.

If you were stranded on a desert island who would be the worst team mate past or present to be with and why?
Jonny May – he would be absolutely useless. Also he has no functional skills!!

Best city you have toured and played rugby in?
I loved going up to Edinburgh.

What’s the best thing about RWC 2015 being in England?
Just the support there is a proper buzz everywhere at the moment.

Earliest Rugby memory?
Getting sent off for the first time in a junior game for slide tackling.

If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not famous, living or dead, real or fictional, who would it be?
I would love to be Odin such a powerful God

Tore the cartilage in my knee
